Times are changing and work from home jobs are becoming more popular! Whether you choose to work remotely for a company or venture off to starting your own business, there is a lot of opportunities in the world and there is no better time than now to start! A lot of work from home jobs offer a great salary with some offering more than what you would earn in your regular 9-5 job. Take a look at some options below.
1. Blogging
Blogging has been around for a long time. Since it started, it has grown tremendously! Most businesses have their own blog separate from their website. But lately, there are a lot of people looking for ways to start a blog as a side income in hopes of eventually growing it into a full-time business. There are mom bloggers, travel bloggers, fashion bloggers, finance bloggers, lifestyle bloggers who blog about a variety of topics/niches. If you’ve considered starting a blog, I highly recommend checking out this free course on how to get your blog up and running the right way and turn it into a money-making blog and when that happens, your income opportunities are endless!
2. Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is a great way to make money but I highly suggest you start a blog first and incorporate this into that. In case you are unsure of what affiliate marketing is, it’s when you sign up as an affiliate for a company, that company sends you your own affiliate link, you use that link to promote their products and whoever clicks and buys the product from your link, you get a commission. You want people to get to know who you are and learn to trust you before they purchase from you. This is why I suggest having a blog as this wont work for you if you just expect to throw your affiliate link on a social media post. I recommend checking out this affiliate marketing course to learn more about how to do affiliate marketing effectively!
3. Author
If you love to write, becoming an author is a great way to make a passive income and can be very rewarding! Check out this free webinar on how to write and launch your first book and how it’s possible to make $10,000 in 90 days!

Bookkeeping is becoming more in demand due to so many online businesses getting started and people looking for bookkeepers. This kind of salary can range from $30,000 to $80,000 a year! Check places like indeed.com to see if any companies are offering remote positions and they may just be offering benefits as well.

Do you have experience with kids? Consider running a child care business from your home! Word of mouth is great; start by asking friends and family for referrals.

11. E-Commerce Owner
This is one of my favorites. My sister and I used to run our own women’s online clothing boutique. Due to other priorities and situations, we had to put it on pause. There are so many coaches out there teaching people how to start up their own e-commerce business. We launched our store from Shopify and they have so many free resources on how to build your business as well as growing it. You can also learn how to dropship, which means you don’t carry any inventory. You are the middle man between the customer and the supplier.
12. Event Planner
Would you love planning parties, business events, or weddings? Think about what you could do if you had your own business doing this and how much income you could make for yourself! Think about the opportunities – every spring, summer and fall there is a wedding (sometimes even in the winter), every Christmas there is a company party, everyday someone is celebrating their birthday or anniversary! A lot of money to be made in this industry!
13. Graphic Designer
Do you have, or are willing to get, a degree or certification in graphic design? Even if you just have some experience with it. There are so many businesses looking for graphic designers to help them with their logos, websites, social media images, etc. Whether you’re working remotely or not, the salary is pretty good! Graphic Designers can make up to $70,000 or more a year depending on what kind of work you’re doing. You can work for one company or have a business of your own with several clients at a time who can refer you to people they know!
14. Information Technology
IT has always provided great work from home jobs. If you’re highly experienced with computers, this industry could make you a lot of money!
15. Online Teacher
Companies like VIPKID offer a great opportunity to teach English online to Chinese students. No prior teaching experience needed. But you do need to have a 4-year University degree and it’s only for people who live in North America. You get to work from anywhere, set your own schedule, and get paid up to $22/hour. If you’re already a teacher, you can find people online looking for more information or help on the subject you teach. Try looking for people in Facebook Groups.

18. Realtor/Renter
You’ll need to have your real estate license to become a realtor but there is some flexibility with this industry when it comes to working from home verses working at an office. Another option would be to become a renter and invest in some properties and rent them out to people. You won’t make your money back right away, but once you do, the passive income can be very rewarding!
19. Travel Agent
If you love traveling, creating itineraries and finding the best deals, this might be the job for you! You can choose to get in with a company remotely or start your own business! A lot of people look for recommendations and help on where/how to plan their next trip!
